Why Benefits4Brewers Exists

Benefits advice should serve your brewery—not habit.

When a renewal jumps or you are offering benefits for the first time, it is easy to fall back on the plans and carrier names you already know. But that familiar choice may not give your brewery the right balance of cost, employee protection, provider access, and support.

Benefits4Brewers exists to help craft brewery leaders understand what else may be available. You deserve clear explanations and a broker who considers both your budget and the people behind your beer.

A brewery should not have to choose between protecting its
budget and taking care of its crew.

Why Kevin started Benefits4Brewers

Kevin believed clients deserved
better support.

Before starting Benefits4Brewers, Kevin Simon worked for a brokerage that he believed lacked the infrastructure and vision to support clients the way they deserved. What bothered him was not simply the available plans. It was seeing how easily clients could be left with familiar choices and too little help.

Kevin began looking for a market he could serve with greater focus. He saw that craft breweries needed creative alternatives, honest answers, and someone willing to stay involved when a claim became difficult. Benefits4Brewers grew from that belief.

The goal was never to offer another default plan. It was to
help breweries see and understand real alternatives.

Craft Breweries And All Things Brewing

A clear focus leads to relevant
conversations.

Benefits4Brewers focuses on what leaders actually care about: controlling costs, protecting employees, and supporting hiring and retention. Instead of defaulting to familiar plans, Kevin looks beyond standard options and helps shape a benefits plan around your business’s needs. The goal is straightforward guidance built around your brewery’s priorities—not a preset carrier list.

Specialization matters when the advice starts with your brewery’s priorities,
not a default carrier list.

What Working Together Should Feel Like

Questions and difficult claims should
have somewhere to go.

That reflects three core commitments: investigate claim issues, assist clients with questions, and
do what is right for the brewery and its employees.

Investigate claim issues

Kevin is willing to get into the weeds and may help file a claim rather than leaving an employee to sort it out alone.

Assist with questions

Clients can ask for help with plan questions, employee changes, or a claim that does not make sense.

Do what is right

Recommendations should serve the brewery and its crew instead of defaulting to the most familiar option.

The relationship should feel approachable enough for you or an employee to ask for help.

Compare Before You Commit

You can compare options without
promising to change.

You don’t have to change anything just because you compare it. Start with your current plan, renewal, or benefit goals, then weigh the options based on cost, employee protection, provider access, and claim support. Whether the familiar plan still fits or another option deserves a closer look, you’ll understand why.

Know what is available, understand the tradeoffs, and choose what fits your brewery and employees.
